So here we have the mighty Forritsome. Brewed in collaboration with The Glasladies Beer Society as part of their ‘Woman Are’ series. 
‘Forritisome’ means ‘bold’ in Scots Gaelic and this beer may make you just that! It’s an 8.9% Belgian Dark Strong Ale. 

Big shout out to Phil of Simple Things Fermentations for lending me Brew Like a Monk by Stan Hieronymus. A fascinating and inspiring read, which took me back to the fateful day I supped a Westvleteren 12 for the first time. Forritsome pays homage to this beer and to the myriad of marvellous modern brewers who dare to experiment. Flavours of rum soaked raisins, caramelised bananas, chocolate eclairs and subtle spices. Can’t wait to see how it develops.
