Dookit Brewing is Glasgow’s wee and fiery independent brewery.

A space where locally sourced and sometimes foraged ingredients are gathered to produce high-quality, low-intervention beers. A sense of place is essential to us when writing recipes. So the word dookit, closely associated with Glasgow, was an obvious choice.

The hardy yet humble nature of the city’s dookits continue to motivate us: we’re dreaming of opening a micro-pub in Glasgow’s Southside called The Dookit

All our beer is unfined, unfiltered and conditioned in pack. They’re all vegan friendly too apart from an oyster stout we brew from time to time. Most of the hops we use are from a family owned, carbon neutral farm in Kent, and all the malt is from Alloa, just a short drive away.

For all beers in our Seasons Change range please look out for our recognizable stubby bottles. Or pick up a 440ml can if you want to try something from the Core Range.

One other component which makes our brewery a little different…

The art of brewing deserves beautiful artwork. So for each beer brewed,  we commission and feature an artwork by a local artist, illustrator or designer.
